Fabled Friday!

Welcome to Fabled Friday where each week I'll cover a mythical, legendary or possibly even a pseudo-legendary. This week for the debut of Fabled Friday we're covering the Alpha Pokemon itself, Arceus!
The first Pokemon to come into existence this Pokemon is considered to have godlike powers, a fact supported by all parts of his character. Created time and space? No problem for this guy. Being even better than the supposed best Pokemon Mewtwo? Arceus' 720 Base Stat Total makes Mewtwo's measly 680 Base Stat Total cry in shame. (JK we love you Mewtwo) Arceus also can be ANY type. Let that sink in. That one thing that sweeps your team, weather that may be Diantha's Mega-Gardevoir or Youngster Joey's Rattata this Pokemon can be the type that perfectly counters it. Just give it the right plate to hold (Sadly meaning he can't be Fairy, but that will probably come soon) and his ability Omnitype transforms him into that type. But wait, I hear you say in excitement, since it would be ridiculous for him to have STAB moves in every type, then its movepool would be ridiculously large. You're right it would be. Actually comparitively his movepool is rather small. but it makes up for the fact by learning most TMs and HMs and with one move that is always STAB. Arceus' signiture move Judgement has 100 base power and 100 base accuracy. It is originally a normal type move, but it has the secondary effect of changing type depending on the user's held plate, coincidentally an item that boosts the power of moves of its type by 1.2 and cayses Arceus to change type. There's a reason this bad boy's in Ubers. In fact he's so powerful that in most generations you can only get him by cheating, the only way to limit his unstoppable power, and even then you still have to catch him, and unless you have a few spare Master Balls on hand you won't be doing that any time soon, his catch rate is 4/255. Well there goes my stock of 500 Ultra Balls. Until next time safe travels and Merry Mudkipz.

Breaking News! Week of July 6-12!

Welcome to Breaking News! a feature I normally update on Sunday showcasing the Pokemon news for the week before. However I am immediately breaking this rule because compared to this news, unless 3 new Megas come out the day after this goes up, nothing can top this stuff.
CoroCoro has officially leaked a new Mega Evolution for the upcoming games Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. One people have wanted, and I know I've wanted for a long time. Mega-Metagross will be obtainable for Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Look at that magnificent beauty. This is exactly what Metagross needed after steel got nerfed in Gen 6 making ghost and dark type moves neutral to steel instead of resistant. This Mega will definatly get Metagross his throne back. Not only is Mega-Metagross available in game, but Steven Stone will be using him when you face him for the championship. That's right Steven Stone, not Wallace, is the champion in both games. Since Coro-Coro already leaked a picture of someone (probably Steven) using a Mega-Charizard X the announcement that he will be using Mega-Metagross leaves me wondering if Steven may be the first NPC to have multiple Pokemon he/she has Mega-Evolved, or if the Charizard in question is being used by you to face him, then if so how do the X and Y exclusive Megas translate to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire? This only leaves us to ponder what Wallace's fate shall be...maybe he's back to being the Sootopolis City Gym Leader again?

1st Post

This is a blog about the Pokemon games, Generations 1- however many generations of Pokemon there are when you're reading this. I'll try to make it as best I can so that both veteran gamers who have played every game and people who don't even know what a Pokemon is can both understand and enjoy this blog. Until next post good day and Merry Mudkipz.
